BFI Suggested Programme of Films:
After consultation with the British Film Institute the Museum has drawn up a programme of British documentary films which chronicle how life for people in this country has changed since 1952 – when the Queen ascended to the throne. As the Museum is concerned with people’s history during this period this list of suggested films will help enliven our exhibitions.
The films range from the first in 1954 right up to the present and will be introduced by Museum Director Stuart Burroughs. Each film show will be presented on a Wednesday at 1 p.m., and sandwiches will be provided as part of the ticket price.
Admission will be £10.00 or free with admission to the Museum itself.
